Answers To Your Questions About Converting To Solar Energy.
What's the idea behind solar power?
The sun represents the most abundant source of energy known to man. Each day, the Earth's surface receives 274 million gigawatt-years of solar energy.
That's 20,000 times the energy consumed planet-wide every year. Solar power harnesses this vast resource using cost-efficient and environmentally friendly methods.
Solar power systems turn sunlight into electricity. Each panel captures photons from sunlight and turns them into DC power, which is then transformed into AC power and connected to your existing electrical system.
How do the solar grants and tax credits work?
It's really pretty simple. Both state and federal governments recognize the advantages of going solar, and they're offering financial incentives that can cover 50% or more of the total cost! However,
these government programs are designed to reward early adopters and they will not last forever. re2g will help you take advantage of all the credits and grants that apply to you, and we'll handle all
the paperwork. The time to install your system and apply for your credits is now.
Can I really make money by installing solar panels?
The clean energy credits you earn by going solar can be sold to power companies to help pay for your solar conversion and continue to provide a steady stream of
income long after your system has paid for itself. re2g will handle it all for you -- and help you get the best price -- through our SolarBanking™ service.

When should I go solar?
The best time to make the move to solar power is right now.
Federal and state tax credits and grant money are available now. These incentives are designed for early adopters and won't last forever.
If you convert to solar now, you'll see an immediate reduction in your electric bills and you may even eliminate your bill altogether. Your costs for solar power will never increase; and by accumulating and selling the clean energy credits, you'll generate revenue that will help pay for your solar panels and provide you with income in the future.
Who will answer all my questions?
re2g will. Just contact us and we'll be happy to explain more about solar power and answer all your questions. Once you get started, your re2g
Solar Strategist™ will keep you informed and answer any questions that arise.
Who will take care of all paperwork for permits and rebates?
re2g will do it all. You don't have to worry about a thing.
Is there any special maintenance needed for a solar energy system?
Your re2g solar power system is virtually maintenance free. The system is simple, has no moving parts, and occasional rainfall will clean dust or small debris off the panels.
Since solar panels are designed to absorb sunlight and heat up, snow usually melts and slides right off of the panels.
Will the system affect the value of my building?
For every $1 saved per year in utility costs, $20 is added to the building's value. That means if you save $1,000 in your utility costs, you're adding $20,000 to your property's value!
What happens on a cloudy day?
Your solar energy system will work best on bright and sunny days. But even on a cloudy day, it will generate electricity. On sunny days, your system may generate even more electricity
than you require. This extra power is redirected back to the grid and builds up credits to help you offset your night time and cloudy day use.
"I decided to go with re2g because they had the best price per kWh generation compared to their competitors. Additionally, re2g offered one of the most efficient panels on the market. They were very helpful with applying for state funded grants and federal tax incentives. We had a tight deadline to complete the installation prior to the year's end and the project was completed on time. They were very professional and helpful throughout the entire process. I would highly recommend their services."
